The madness of power
XIX edition of the Donostia Performing Arts Fair
The show deals with current issues within the socio-political reality that Europe is going through and Spain in particular.
During the show, topics related to budget cuts, culture, sport, justice, education, and health, etc. will be discussed. Barabbás's speeches will be accompanied by live music. In these discourses, his songs and dances will corroborate the moments of madness with which they celebrate their unquestioned dominion.
After a short break, Albert Vidal will sing the audience a song accompanied by Xavier Macaya on the viola wheel which is entitled "Dialogue of the body and soul".

An ancient , XVII century song, by Emilio del Cavalieri
Monologue of Time
Time, time flees
life is destroyed
get out of the pit now.
scattered ashes and bones
arise, souls still
take the bodies
So that everyone understands
open your eyes and understand
that this life is a wind
that flies away in a moment
today it is coming out
tomorrow it dies
today it looks like
tomorrow it disappears
Try, then, each one
while you have time
to work with the hand, to work with the heart
for the good deed is the fruit of honour
