DANTE BY THE HAND OF THE POET VIRGIL CROSSES THE HELL INHABITED BY THE SHADOWS OF SINNERS
Albert Vidal relates the journey accompanied by illustrative images of the horrific itinerary. Telluric chants accompany the passionate recitation of the underworld's abisms.
Canto III. We will discover in the circle of the indolent, those who by cowardice or sloppiness did not make any commitment in their lives. We will see the demon Caronte climb them on a rowing boat to move them across the river on a journey without turn.
Canto V. In the next chapter, we will witness the fervent love of Paolo and Francesca, ecstatic in their adultery, murdered by Paolo's jealous brother.
Canto VI. Circle of torments where the incontinent gluttons will suffer the bites and tears of the demon Cerberus, rabid dog of three heads.
On his way, there is Ciacco, a famous character from Dante's time, who was the mockery of all for his irrepressible gluttony. It will continue to sink into the infected mud until the final judgment.
These three acts are recited by the rhapsodist in the original language, that is, in tuscan of the 1300s, to give more authenticity to the horrors and sufferings of those who freed their soul to the king of evil.
At the end of the three cantos, Albert Vidal will address the audience with Agostino Manni's verses (1600 AD) translated into catalan, about the importance of ethics and to do well to be worthy of existence.
